Experience: Carla Abourjeily is a senior relationship manager who focuses on the ultra-high-net-worth segment of the Middle East. She also specializes in the coverage of the family offices in Saudi Arabia as well as their offices worldwide. Previously, Abourjeily helped in the strategy design and launch of the Ladies Initiatives in Saudi Arabia for HSBC. She developed this market and participated in various ladies events in the Kingdom and abroad. Before coming to Geneva, she worked in HSBC's offices in Beirut and New York, providing private banking services to the MENA region. Abourjeily began her career in Beirut with Merrill Lynch and later ABN AMRO. She is now among the top performers at HSBC Private Bank and has received numerous honors and awards at the bank and from the banking community in Switzerland. Abourjeily speaks fluent English, French, and Arabic; she is an active mentor of several junior colleagues at HSBC; and she is very active in civic and community service.
