Experience: As chair of an organization with nearly $11 billion in annual revenues, Sharon Allen's governance responsibilities include leading the board in providing oversight and guidance to the management of Deloitte LLP and its subsidiaries. Allen is also a member of the global board of directors of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she serves as the US representative on the global governance committee and chairs the global risk committee. With 37 years of audit and consulting experience, Allen works to ensure that Deloitte achieves its vision to be "the Standard of Excellence," and oversees the organization's relationships with a number of major multinational clients. She serves on the boards of the YMCA of the USA, Catalyst, and the Autry National Center.
